Nicky and Jenna both lost a staggering 3 stone in 12 weeks using The Wedding Dress Diet Plan and some other helpful hints, and here they’re sharing their top tips if you’re looking to slim down for your big day…

Scales

Invest in some digital scales so that you can see the smaller weight losses – it will keep you in the zone and motivated to continue!

Stay hydrated

Make sure you drink plenty of water – 4 pints a day minimum! Add a bit of ice in there as this helps to boost your metabolism.

Before and after

As much as you might hate this, take a photo of yourself upon starting your weight-loss challenge and stick it to your fridge. Any time you open the fridge, you’ll see it and remember why you put it there.

Think ahead

Just keep thinking about that perfect dress and about how excited you are about your wedding day – this will help to keep you motivated and on track!

Mindful eating

Eat slowly and enjoy every mouthful. When you concentrate on the food you are eating, the flavours will be much more intense, and you’ll find yourself more full and satisfied.

Breakfast

Try porridge for breakfast; not only can you get some great tasty flavours, this will keep you fuller for longer.

Low calorie

Want a low calorie meal? A great (and yummy!) idea is a prawn or chicken stir fry because this kind of protein will keep you full throughout the day. You can replace the noodles for extra vegetables.

Something sweet

If you occasionally fancy something sweet – which we all do once in a while, – try Lindt dark chocolate for an intense chocolate hit at only around 40 calories per square. One square is enough to satisfy your sweet tooth and will stop you reaching for the whole bar.
